小城選舉

今年終於是選舉年。。。
又是大熱門。。。又是三大家族之一。。。
沒有利益輸送？。。。how about in US?
一人一票就是民主？就是好？民主就是好？大家是不是要好好想一想？

我相信知識及中產份子作為動力，新聞傳播界發揮監督作用才能推動政府改革
小城固有文化及華人特質確實令小城難以如北歐國家般運作
但小城近年發展捉住了香港及國際的傳媒目光，縱使會有別有用心者的不合理指控，我相信外界傳媒可起到本地傳媒缺乏的影響力。

但願小城可再很少的創傷下發展成一個永續城市。

Distance between life and death

One of my patient has an end stage cancer. He's 70 and getting weaker day by day. When the attending told his wife that he has a good chance can't get through this time, i could see her eyes filled up with tears.
For one moment, i know that it's not the death i am afraid of. It's that I can't stant with the feeling of lossing someone important to me.

Swine flu...

A new epidemic, 6 years after SARS.
We are again apart, living in different city, in the very same Earth.
Take good care of yourself...promise me, alright?
